CESBC Workshop | Tips for Writing an Abstract

Join the CESBC Conference Planning Team and Beth Snow, VP CES National as we lead a discussion and Q & A about how to write a strong abstract for the topic and presentation style of choice. 

As we open up the Call for Abstracts for the 2023 CESBC Evaluation Conference ‘Weaving Our Story: Co-creating the Future of Evaluation’, we want to ensure that submitting an abstract and presenting at the conference is accessible for folks who may have never submitted an abstract before, or are looking to refresh or improve their abstract writing skills. 

Our evening session will cover:

• The different presentation styles: What are they, and which one is best for your topic?

• The submission process: Tips for choosing a conference stream, and writing an engaging abstract that clearly outlines your presentation.

• Assessment criteria: Reviewing your submission to ensure you have met all of the necessary criteria. 

• General Q&A: Have a specific question? We are here to help answer it. 

We’ll be using Zoom to host the discussion.
